/tp @a[tag=!notNew] (Chain command block) /tag @a[tag=!notNew] add notNew. Players have a SpawnX, SpawnY and SpawnZ NBT tag. These tags, as the names suggest, contain the coordinates of the player's spawn point. The first idea I had was to compare the values to the coordinates of the world spawn point.
Steampunker. Dec 20, 2015. #2. No, you don't spawn where you left off unless you're using a custom server. You can use a bed to change where you'll spawn. Some people use several beds in strategic places, like next to the dungeon. You can also use TShock or a save editor to permanently move the world spawn point.

WorldGuard Spawn Point Flag adds a flag to WorldGuard: respawn-location. Players who die inside a region with this flag set have their respawn location changed. Prerequisites. This mod requires WorldGuard Custom Flags 1.6 and (of course) WorldGuard. Examples /region flag city respawn-location here

Spawn/Multiplayer details. For this discussion, coordinates refer to the column centered at (x+0.5, z+0.5). That is, -225x, 255z refers to the column bounded by -224x to -225x and 255z to 256z. Every world has a "spawn point" (really, an area) located within a few hundred blocks of the origin, which is at coordinates 0x, 0y, 0z.
The ONLY way to reset your spawn point is to sleep in a bed. If this spawn point is obstructed, it will spawn you into the wilderness, just like when you first made the world. For your second question, the only way without a mod (I think) is to look at your map (or use console commands) and write down the coordinates.

Hold an item, preferably one of the ones listed above, in your hand. Type //brush sphere (block) (size). The ' (block)' must be replaced with the block you would like the sphere to be made out of, and the ' (size)' is going to be how big the sphere is. Right click where you would like to spawn the sphere.

When they first log in, they always spawn on top of, or around, the spawn building, when the spawn is set inside! I use CommandBook to handle spawning. /spawn puts players on the block I set spawn as. Just when they log in for the first time, it's screwed up. Help? Don't worry about this. I installed essentials and configured it to work properly. kyhQ.
