To make the casings, fold both top edges down by 1/4β and press, and then by another 1/2β and press well. 8. Fold the bag at the bottom, placing the top and side edges together. Pin the sides from the pencil mark down. 9. Stitch the bag sides together along the finished edges, sewing from the pencil mark down.Step 3 - Fold the Endings. This is my favorite part because this is where the handles really start to come together. Glue the endings and fold them upwards until they cover the end of the cord. You may need to tuck the leather into the indentation that is created, so that the edges line up perfectly.
AMAZON 3mm Macrame Cord:
Making the tube. Match the raw edges of the fabric strip, lengthwise, wrong side together and sew down that line with a 1/4β³ seam allowance to make a tube. Turn the tube right side out, press the tube so the seam falls in the middle, and press. Repeat to create a second 34β handle. Donβt remove the tape because your rope will immediately begin to unravel. 2. From the inside of the bag out, thread rope through handle holes and place a washer on each end of the rope. 3. Tie a tight knot in the rope at the very end of each handle. Repeat for the second side. Find a space that is a little longer as the rope you want to make. This rope maker has three hooks, some have four or more. Attach the rope to one of the hooks (hook A on the diagram) on your ropemaking machine and roll out a line of bags for a little farther than the rope you want to make. Try 10-15% more. STEP 1: Flatten a plastic bag and cut 1.25-inch wide strips in a zig-zag pattern as shown to make one long continuous streamer of plastic bag. Note: Do not cut all the way across the bag, leave 1.25-inches uncut on each side as shown above. Cut plastic bags in a zig-zag pattern. Shown are three plastic bags already cut and in different colors. wwiJ.
