iTrader: ( 0) Misfire issues on BMW 2015 328i n20 HELP. So i have been having a misfire issue on my car. Started with cylinder 1 so change coil, issue seemed to have been solved. Few days later cylinder 4 misfire so i change all the coils. Car drives fine for two days under heavy throttle misfire issue comes up on cylinder 2.

Since my car is out of warranty, BMW dealership is charging an absurd amount of money. I've attached BMW's repair estimate. It depends on how many miles are on the BMW, and which models of BMW. E.g. my F30 328i was sold at 8.5 yrs and 80k miles with total out-of-pocket expense of $2k (after 4-yr/50k miles free maintenance + new car warranty) including: 2 sets of tires. 5 dealer oil changes. indy spark plugs. dealer coolant + brake.

Add a Comment. jpgPGH • 10 mo. ago. I bought a 2013 328i in November 2013 with about 34k miles on it. It now has about 114k miles on it without any TC problems. I change the oil at about 1/2 of the recommended interval and have my indie mechanic check the TC for slack about every two years. I drive the car spiritedly, but don’t flog it.
