OK. Green 4x4 light flashing on L200. What i have done so far Changed Solenoids - they ceased working the moment we tried them. We tested them before putting them on and they were good. Took to Mitsubishi - charged me £70 for diagnostics which failed to identify any problem.

Hi all, I just picked up my 2001 Space Gear on Monday and during my drive home I noticed that the 4WD indicator on the dashboard was displaying 2 flashing green lights for the two front wheels. I verified that I was not in 4WD, and drove the rest of the way home. Since then I have been researching the issue and I keep reading
Crank end and keyway is good. No pulley delamination either. Chopper plate is as it should be. Removed crank sensor and pulled of insulation. Very wet and oily inside- water not coolant. Blue wire pulled out if sensor will little resistance and some damage to casing of crank sensor itself.

The ABS light comes on in the dashboard of Mitsubishi Triton when one or more of the wheel speed sensors have malfunctioned, brake fluid is too low, the fuse is blown or the relay is bad, tire pressure is low, or if the ABS module has developed a defect. Depending on which solenoid fails and in which way, it may keep the hubs locked in with out shifting into 4 wheel drive or a partial failure where they will go in and out. Either is bad and will cause excessive wear on the 4 wheel drive.
